This is the red I would head for if I had to choose one chex Tesco. It's pure pleasure from the Roquebrun co-op: 60% Syrah with Mourvèdre and Grenache and is a lovely combination of opulent, glossy texture and the leatheriness of Syrah. A very good effort for the vintage and both dense and fresh. Ready to drink any time over the next year.
