The CARMIM cooperative of Reguengos de Monsaraz, DO Alentejo , was established in 1971 by a group of sixty vine growers with a passion to produce quality wines.

Three decades on, with a thousand members and an area of vines spanning 3,700 hectares, CARMIMs ambition and commitment to quality wines continues. This is clearly supported by its investment in a state of the art winery four years ago where traditional wine making practises meet modern vinification technology.

The cooperative is the main company in the district of Reguengos de Monsaraz playing an important role behind the economic and social development of the region. CARMIM prides its success on its long term relationship with its members.

With a distinguished portfolio of national and international awards CARMIM's presence is firmly recognised in the Portuguese domestic market.
